Emoled at the WUWHS2026 Congress in Malaysia

The World Union of Wound Healing Societies Congress – WUWHS2026 –  is taking place from 23 to 27 September 2026, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Under the theme “Global Paradigm Shift: Wound Care Specialty and Recognition,” this congress will convene leading clinicians, researchers, industry partners, and policymakers from around the world to advance wound care as a recognised specialty and raise standards of patient-centred practice.

The programme includes a number of interesting presentations on the use of blue light photobiomodulation for wound care. On 23 September, as part of the symposium organised by the International Society for Paediatric Wound Care – ISPeW (08:00–10:00 | MR 304 & 305 Hall), Biagio Nicolosi will share his experience on the use of ‘Blue light photobiomodulation in paediatric and neonatal wound care’. On 24 September, during the session on new frontiers in wound healing (14:00–15:15 | MR 307, 308 & 309), Viviana Gonçalves will present “The Light Frontier: Healing chronic wounds with biophototherapy”. On 25 September, during the session on adjunctive therapies (08:00–10:00 | MR 301), Elia Ricci will speak on “Biophototherapy”.
