Privacy Policy

This privacy statement is intended to describe the management procedures in relation to the processing of personal data of users / visitors of the website www.emoled.com (hereinafter the “Site”).
The following Privacy Policy is published for users of the Site in accordance with paragraph 13 of the 2016/679 EU Regulation.
The Website is owned by Emoled S.r.l., with registered office in Via de’ Bardi 36
50125 (Florence), (hereinafter “EMOLED”).
The following information is published by EMOLED only in relation to the Site and not in relation to other sites or sections / pages / spaces owned by third parties that the user has visited through certain links found on the Site.
EMOLED guarantees compliance with EU regulations and Italian law in relation to the protection of personal data.
Users / visitors are invited to carefully read the following Privacy Policy before sending any personal data and / or filling in electronic forms on the Website.

1. Definitions pursuant to art. 4 of EU 2016/679 Regulation

“personal data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘data subject’); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person;
“processing” means any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction;
“controller” means the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data; where the purposes and means of such processing are determined by Union or Member State law, the controller or the specific criteria for its nomination may be provided for by Union or Member State law;
“processor” means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which processes personal data on behalf of the controller.
“third party” means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or body other than the data subject, controller, processor and persons who, under the direct authority of the controller or processor, are authorised to process personal data;

2. Type of data processed and purpose of processing.

Navigation data.
In standard activity and in compliance with the processing methods and data requirements according to EU Regulation 2016/679, the computer systems and software procedures used for the operation of the Site, acquire some personal data that are implicitly sent through the Internet for the purpose use of communication protocols. These data are those, by their nature, through associations or processing with data owned by third parties, could identify users / visitors (eg IP addresses, domain names used by users / visitors connected to the site, etc., so-called “data identification “). These data are used only for the purpose of obtaining statistical information (anonymously) and for checking the correct functioning of the Site. Immediately after processing, the data is deleted.

Data provided voluntarily by users / visitors (so-called “concerned parties”)
In the event that users / visitors, by connecting to the Site, send their personal data to access the services or send requests via email, we inform you that these data will be acquired by EMOLED and / or by third parties with whom EMOLED can provide the service requested by the user / visitor; these data will be processed only in response to the request, or to provide the service according to this privacy policy and applicable laws.
In particular, the user account and profile data, necessary for access to the services subject to user registration, will be processed and stored for the duration of the contract only in order to allow the provision of such services. Personal data sent expressly by users / visitors will be communicated to third parties only if such communication is necessary to meet the requests of users / visitors and for the provision of services, and in order to fulfill the obligations established by law.

Cookies
The Website uses cookies or markers. These are packets of information sent by a Web server (in this case, from the Site) to the Internet browser of the visitor / user and automatically saved in the personal computer and sent automatically when the user accesses the site. Therefore, for a complete use of the Site, we recommend that you configure your browser to accept cookies. Except for navigation data, users / visitors may choose to provide or not provide personal data. If not provided or if the user does not consent to the processing of personal data, this only implies the impossibility of obtaining the services required for which the provision and processing of personal data is necessary.

5. Owner, responsible persons and types of interested persons.

The data controller is EMOLED, with registered office in Via della Cernaia n. 5 – Florence.
A list of data processors is filed at the registered office of EMOLED and can be known by writing to: info@emoled.com.
In the company, user data will be processed by EMOLED employees.
In addition to EMOLED employees, the processing of personal data can also be managed by third parties assigned by EMOLED because the carry out activities connected with or instrumental to the execution of the data processing or the provision of the services offered (or parts of them). In this case, the persons will work as independent processors, co-processors or will be appointed as data controllers or persons in charge of processing.

6. Rights of the persons concerned

People whose data are processed by EMOLED have the right to contact us at any time to get information about the type of personal data concerning them, to correct inaccurate information, to access the list of data controllers and related data processing locations currently used by EMOLED, to present further requests concerning the processing of personal data, to oppose specific data processing, to request interruption or limitation of processing, to request data portability towards third parties or revoke their explicit consent. We will respond to requests received in accordance with applicable laws and in a manner consistent with Emoled’s commitment to privacy. In the event of revocation, the personal data will be deleted by EMOLED and the latter will ensure that such personal data are deleted by the relevant service providers, unless such personal data can’t be deleted because it is required to keep them by applicable laws or regulations.

For any request concerning the processing of your personal data, the data controller will provide an answer as quickly as possible and, in any case, no later than one month after receipt of the request.
