Published a case series of Burns treated with Blue Light.

Photobiomodulation with Blue Light was tested as a new clinical practice in the management of patients with severe burns at the Burns Center and Emilia Romagna Regional Skin Bank, M. Bufalini Hospital, Italy. The article “Blue LED Light in Burns: a new treatment’s modality”, published on the Journal of Clinical and Investigative Dermatology, reports the results of this clinical experience. Authors registered the reactivation of the reparative process of the burnt areas in patients where the autologous graft was not successful; in patients where the aesthetic results were taken into account, a better morphology of the recovered skin was observed in the treated areas.
